Just watching this, on my TV, I wish I was there, lol 😂
I used to remember "Wish You was here" I think on ITV from 1974 to 2003, this was a holiday program showing many places around the world.
When I was young, had been to Butlins a lot, then after getting a caravan in Hemsby, used to have hoilday there, just a short drive from Norwich.
When I got my first job, I did go on hoilday to Gran Canaria in the early 1990's, I got some photos of that, but just can not remember much at all, just that I did like the flight, and did not enjoy the hoilday, mostly because I was on my own, and do not mix very well.
It was from East Midlands Airport, and I think I came back with a ear infection too.
