Thursday Annual Leave day

Entry for 13 December 2007 End of the day
I got the 1336 Norwich Thorpe p5b to Great Yarmouth (170271 I think ? carpets getting a bit worn out).
I cam back on 156402, 1747 Great Yarmouth Vaxuhall p3 to Norwich Thorpe.

I got two bottle of Coca-Cola from Boots, another £2:20 on Breakfast, £11:47 on three Christmas gifts from Morrisons.

I got two letter, one being my new bank card, the other from Simon Wright (Liberal Democrat Norwich South), letter about the former Norwich Brewery Offices, Lorry & site, seem they has been vandalism to the temp steel fencework on King Street, trash & other item been dup there (fly-tipping).
They also ask for comments on this or any other issue.

Other than that, this has been a strange day, but every day is strange.
It feel strange not to know many people, but live in a city, Norwich is not a friendly place to live, mostly they do not talk to you, if they do not like you, so it not as bad, as some places, but it far from friendly still.

Most of the people I mixed with, mostly family, have past away or if not, I do not know, moved on (as I have ? ).
Better going & do something, like watch a DVD.

Entry for 13 December 2007 Thursday Annual Leave Day
Today is the most early I got up, at about 1220 hours.
I am going to Great Yarmouth, may be on the 1336 Norwich thorpe to Vaxuhall.

I again wached DVD to the early hours of the morning, could not sleep.
Was watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, season four.
It amazing how, the
characters in it, get throw about & knocked out a lot, sometime by a single blow to the head, without any lasting damage, in buffy case, or a vampire or demon, it goes with the story, but when a human ? I do not think in real life, they could do such a thing without lasting damage.
But that is Sci-fi, so it much more easy to do, but RAMBO is not Sci-fi, a man goes though a place, inavtes a place with a army & kill everyone, one man vs a army (or was that Commodore ? )
then there is the A Team, the bad boys get shot, car crash & come out, with nothing, just look a big dizzy & that is it, near the end, when when they the A-Team, they lock them up, with everything they need to break out & beat the bad men.
Life is so much easy on TV, you know what is bad, who are good & that good is better than bad & everyone lives happy every after ?

Better be going now

The BIG Lottery Fund has announced that Sustrans’ Connect2 has been crowned the winner of The People’s £50 Million Lottery contest; the biggest ever award to be decided by a public vote.

So the one I voted for did not win (Sherwood Forest), which is a little sad, my opinion is still, a lot of 'Connect2' are projects that should be funded by Local Councils or Dept of Transport, How many public roads are funded this way ? I would not think none, but half build cycle / walk-way bridges over motorway are one of the things, going to funded by this ?, I think it should of been done when the motorway was build, with the funds from that project.
may be it will lead to lower Council Tax bill for us all, some how I do not think so.

Wednesday Annual Leave Week

Entry for 12 December 2007
I just went round my Dad's, about 2000 hours, help him pack some Christmas gifts up.
It a bitty cold outside, more like winter, frost a lot about, on the road, car windows, etc, etc.

Police to vote on right to strike - Every UK police officer is to be balloted over whether to lobby for the right to strike, their federation says.

The UK Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, accepting their recommendation for a 2.5% increase to the pay of police officers, but decided that the award should be implemented on 1 December, rather than 1 September.
The Scottish Government has agreed to backdate the 2.5% rise to 1 September, as recommended by the Police Arbitration Tribunal.
This Home Office misjudgment raises a lot of questions, as I quote
"It appears to us that if an award is made, if that is what arbitration feels our police officers are entitled to, it is duty bound upon a government who signed up for arbitration to deliver the outcome in the terms of the arbitrated deal."
Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill on the pay deal
What is wrong with the London based
Government ?

Entry for 12 December 2007
Today I did not do anything, just in bed, watching DVD's.

I got a email from a Norwich citu council councillor, with the reason City Hall sent me a bill for the window, from what I read, it say nothing about my case ?

Dear Councillor

My apolagies for the delay in my responce on this matter.

With regards to the Repairs/recharge procedure when it comes to matters of vandalism although we appreciate that the Tenant is not responcible for the damage itself, it is their responcibility to report such damage to the police directly. The police will then investigate and once they have completed their enquiries will provide the Tenant with a CAD number.
From this point the tenant can contact us and we will take this number to place against the repair. Another alternative is that the police themselves will contact us for a statement and reclaim the costs on our behalf through the magistrates court. If this is confirmed with the police no charge will be raised against the Tenant for the repairs. Unfortunately as you can appreciate sometimes these investigations can take some time to complete the result of which may be that we raise an invoice for the repair work before we have recieved the CAD number, which I suspect is the case in this instance.
Moving forward with regards to recharges and vandalism we have a system in place where we advise the Tenants to contact the police in the first instance, however if the property is damaged in a way that leaves it unsafe or insecure we have a rite to repair obligation to ensure that the property is acceptable for the Tenant to remain within. In the instance where this is not standard wear and tear we are required to apply costs to the tenant initially.

If there is any further information I can provide with this matter please feel free to contact me.

Yours Sincerely

Chris Mepham
Customer Contact Team Leader
Norwich City Council

They have never reply to my email, I sent them, but I am only a "TENANT" to them, so do not matter.
I got a "Customer Satisfaction Survey" from Norwich City Council, the council that do not cares.
Like they care about anything what I will say, they just ignore it, like my email.
As for the above reply from the Council, I report the matter to the police, the police report to the council, the council then lie about it after.
Seems that Norwich city council can not tell the truth.

Tuesday Annual Leave Week

Entry for 11 December 2007 Tuesday
I spent most of the night & day, playing FIFA Football 2004 on Xbox, I say playing, but I am cheating
Just for the EA Sports Bio ? I only just notice this, mostly because I have not play this game very much, I got it cheap, with another game at the same time, I forgot how much they was, but I think from £2 to £5 ?
I even forgot where I got them, may be Morrisons ?

I played four hours night / early hours of today, but did not save it, just the game & user profile, I only found out after, I also needed to save EA Sports Bio ?
I got a win % of 91, played 45 games (I only won them, because I cheated & played myself ?, well my cats do not like to play games on the XBox).
EA Sports level 9, after 10 hours, 32 mins playing this game, well not playing, just haing the XBox on, the this game on it, all adds up, I do not need to in the room or my flat.
Before that, I was playing on the Sega Saturn, the last game I played was FIFA '97.

I still have not found the Alcatel phone.

I got Radio Ulster on my iMac, not using the Virgin NTL set top box, as I got the XBox using the same TV.
I got two letter, MBNA & A&L (MBNA), asking for information, I know I will be in debit for the rest of my life, I can never pay it back, well aprt from when I die, then they will get they money.

I did not go to bed, till about 0500 hours, mostly because I did not feel sleepy.
Still have not found that Alcatel phone yet ?

I was in bed till 1700, 12 hours, had a few strange dreams, but by now I forgot them all.
I did not go & see that movie, may be Tuesday, but that more on, if I sleep well tonight ?

I went to Morrisons, got milk for me and 24 (440ml) can of Carlsberg larger for £10, cheaper than bitter.
About 41½p each, or £1:66½ for four cans.
After I got home, with my M&S 'shopping trolley' bag, I notice the wheel small of smoking tobacco ?, after folding it up, my hand small like I been smoking too , well my left hand ?, I did not remember being anywhere near any one was was smoking, plus it was raining too.

Not got much planed for the rest of the night, phone my Dad soon, but a little late to go round.

Just watched Robin Hood, it ended 12 mins ahead of time ? BBC1 is showing show before they start time ?

I got up at about 1800 hours, I did get up before, but went back to bed, ear ache all day.
I just had a phone call from my Dad, feel like talking on the phone, make my ear ache worst.

I took the trash & recycle iten to the recycle bins.
I got a copy of Canal Boat (December 2007 £3:25), which I found when cleaning a train, last night I think ?
A story on page 13, is about TESCO, they started to use the Mersey & Manchester Ship Canal, for transporting of cargoes of wine, along a 40 mile route from Port of Liverpool to the company's bottling depot in Manchester.
The first load was on October 18th 2007, three journeys per week, estimated 600,000 litres of wine on each journey.
Tesco claims this will take 50 lorries off the M62.
They are looking at water transport options elsewhere, it says.
It has a photo of the 'Liverpool - Manchester Shuttle', with a banner 'TESCO LESS CO2'

I only found out about this today, I voted for Sherwood Forest plan.

I like the Connect2 bid, but it seems to me, that a lot of things they plan, should be done by Local Council & DoT.
Like the foot bridge over the motorway, only half build, did they run out of money ? Was the plan, they build the other half latter ?
The two cycle path that do not meet ?

As for phone voting on ITV, do people still trust a TV company to count any votes ?
I would not vote by phone or text.
There is not little information about what they are going to do, just little bits of information.
That they are big projects, West Midlands about canals & how they want to end unemployment, value people more ?
I like the underground thing, they show & to spend more on canals is very good.

I like the Sherwood Forest plans, make it a much better visitor complex, which is famous for Robin Hood of course, I voted for this, I think I could of voted for Black Country plans, but the other two would be more hard for me to vote for.

The Edge - massive greenhouse, hard for me to understand this, a desert to the UK well spend all that money for that ?

I wonder who will win ? I o not think it will be Sherwood Forest ? but that just a guess ?

National Express seem to be more & more like Kwik Save for Transport, in that it keep getting smaller in railways, but may be they can prove that NX can do something better, than the mistakes at 'ONE', or may be not.
