When some people talk, it seem there a big opposition to immigration, it always seem to be a new problem that easy to blame some group of people that it is more easy to dislike or fear.

This is mostly promoted by people, who themselves have moved around the world, to live in Britain or from Britain, showing that they do not see themselves play by the same fears they promote.

We are humans, not trees, we can move around the world, and people can come here, we can control our borders, but by logic, and wisdom, not hate and fear.

It easy to learn lots of myths from the past, that feed our fears and hate of groups, may be it might even bands us "real Brits" more, but once we start feeding our fears, then one day we start not only to hate each other more, and see the world in a more negative ways, but we might even feed our own self hate too.

I only been to Tenerife twice, I not sure if I had fish and chips the first time, but second I did.
It was late, the Railway Tavern was just closing up, well so was The Bell the other side, we just arived and come by bus from Tenerife south Airport, I had a bit of ear ache from aire presure and landing, plus sleepy and wanted something to eat.
So went to a place I know, the bars was just closing, we ordered the fish and chips, then waited, a family from Yorkshire came, and the man was talking with lots of people around us, full volume, he was at the service counter, as the staff was asking me about something, it was hard to hear as he voice seem to overcome everything else, now that was a experience, he was a little bit overwhelming, may be on that night, I did have fears that the hoilday will go all wrong, but it was wonderful, thanks to my friend who help make it so much better.

Well the first night, may be I felt I was too sober, sleepy, in a rea that most people are coming from or to other places, a little merry from the joy of drinking, do not feel on the same level, more so with ear ache?

Trentside social club / working men club, 32 Wilford Lane, Nottingham NG2 7RL

The site was acquired by MRP in April 2018 and Detailed Planning Consent was secured in December 2018 for a new build 34 apartment scheme on a dramatic river-facing site bordering the River Trent in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

The site was historically occupied by a working men’s club and is densely populated by a large number or TPO protected mature trees. The vast majority of the trees are retained in the proposed scheme.

The scheme, which Mark designed, is arranged in two separate blocks, one facing the River Trent and containing 19 units, and the other facing Wilford Lane and containing 15 units. Both blocks are stepped in form from west to east in order to respond to the boundary of a seven storey 1960s apartment scheme to the east and a relatively recent scheme of three storey houses to the west and, further, in the case of the river-fronting block, to comply with the no-build zone adjacent to the historic flood defence walls bounding the footpath adjacent to the River Trent. These limiting criteria are used positively to create dramatic stepped geometries in the proposed blocks and associated terraced areas.

I remember this place in the 1990's, I think I only been there a few times, seems a nice place.

Now I can not remember much about it, and do not think I got any photo of my own, of it.
