Making a profit from Illness | THE DIRTY WAR ON THE NHS | John Pilger He...

I am just started to watch this.
My own view is that medical needs should come before financial resources, but many people who might think in "Common Sense" way, might think that people should or even must pay for they own health care, and if you can not, well sadly your not needed, and are a cost that need to be cut.
But that can cost more to our society in the long run.

I do not think the NHS is perfect, but the main aim, for medical need before how much can someone pay, seem simple to me, I think the our society need to put in the resources to make this happen, to help people no matter if they have not got the money, in a more equal way?

Now I am paying for the NHS, when I do not need it, by taxes I and all of us pay to the government , when I can work and earn money, but when I am sick, ill, then I can not earn the money to pay, so to me, it make sense that it then free, and as soon as I get fit (I hope), then I can work again and pay tax again.

I think everyone should be given education, a home that is safe to live in, and a health service to help them keep strong and enjoy life, I see that as a investment in our shared society, in people.

But each of us need to help each other, to help our connected society, as each one of us make our country, no matter what our past is.
Of course I do not make much sense, but people are the investment, that can make a return, not just money, that is just a way to measure it, we need to make money work for us, not work for money. (again that silly, but in my own mind I make sense to myself).
