Furious debate erupts as visitors refuse to use Welsh name Yr Wyddfa for 'Snowdon'
Another Welsh national park changes its 'nonsense' name
GBNews, and many people who are on that "British" channel, seem to be shocked by the use of Welsh names, like it something new, a language that has a longer history to our lands than English?
I just think it is silly to try to make it a political issue, when using the real Welsh names for places, can be better for tourists, help them understand the different parts of the UK, and the history better.
Sadly there too many people think English is the only language in the UK, may be some of us think it the best one, but to know that, we have to learn other languages too, to find out?
IMHO, when we only want to or can learn one language , then we are limiting ourselves and missing out on seeing the world around us in a different light?
