The Isle of Sheppey Bridge Disaster 2013 | Plainly Difficult Documentary

I was thinking of this a few days ago, but could not remember much of it.
On the day, I was in London, for a medical 😷  and when waiting for this, they had TV on BBC News, with this on, a crash on a bridge, with fog.

When driving 🚘, you should drive at a speed, that you can stop in the distances in that you can see, not go at a speed that get you someone else faster? Even if  it easy to think the risks are worth it, and you mostly get away with it, even everyone else might seem to be doing the same.

Of course many of us drivers moan about the faults of unsafe roads, still that no reason to breaks the Highway Code and drive in a unsafe way, that can make more problems , even if we think we will accept the risks, we can not do the same for the other road users who we put at danger?

Drivers and other who use the roads,  need better education & understanding  on why the rules of the Highway Code, and that we share the road with each other.

Easy to say, than do, of course, a driving licence is not our right, when we put others at risk.
