Now for 79, says it was 129:99, but I got it before the 20 pound price cut, it was 99:99.
It even says this at bottom of page - "Please note item 5185755 has previously been on sale at £99.99.".
I also seen it at Tesco at 79:99 in Lincoln just before Argos cut it price & Three shops been selling it at 89:99, all with ten pound top up, so need to add ten pounds to the price.

Well, I start off by a list of train I have been on.

0552 Norwich Thorpe p6 to Liverpool Lime Street, via Nottingham Midland p6 (arr 0843) 158777, East Midlands Trains.
1056 Nottingham Midland p5a to Hucknall & Mansfield Woodhouse (153384 / 153302), East Midlands Trains.
1139 Hucknall to Worksop (153310 / 153313) East Midlands Trains.
1413 Worksop to Lincoln, 144007 Northern Rail service, which I missed as I was on the wrong platform.
1415 worksop to Sheffield & Adwick ?, 144013 DMU (arr Sheffield at 1447 p3a). Northern Rail.
1538 Sheffield p5a to Nottingham Midland p1b (arr 1630), 158812. East Midlands Trains.
1739 Nottingham midland p1b to Norwich Thorpe p5b, 158852. East Midlands Trains.

At Sheffield, someone was smoking on the platform, right next to a sign saying no smoking on the platforms, I did think it was a little funny ?
At Workshop, there was a group of 'train spotters', one had a camera, very massive with a very long lens, he could take photo's of trains at Kings Cross, it was so long.

Nottingham, when I got back, there must of been a fire at the Leather seat & Sofia shop / warehouse, other side of the road to Midland Station, basement ? It smell of smoke, look like they been a fire, but must of been put out quick.
It was in the Evening Post, the fire started at around 1355 hours on Carrington Street, Regina House.
Well behind Regina House, in the car storage unit, it was being boarded up, when I seen it & police tape took down.
Could of been a lot worst ?

I got a phone call, once I was home, asking if any of the kitten was female, I still could not tell.
I got two pet flea combs from Wilko today, I done the kittens & Tanya, they had flea on them, so I did think so will the other cats, but Charlotte & Genesis, well I could not find any ? may be because they long hair ?

I better be going to bed now.
Write some more Friday, about today.

I took 93 photo's with the Fuji F50 camera, today, a lot more than Wednesday.

I forgot to add, that I went in the caves under Broad Marsh Shopping Centre.
Took some photos.

As I was getting the ticket, someone offer to give me, 20% discount vouchor, so I got in for a little cheaper, very kind of them.

Drury Hill.

This is the meal from the pub I got.

Today I got up about 0415 hours & now getting ready to get the 0552 to Nottingham, East Midlands Trains service.

Saturday & trip to Nottingham

Entry for 01 March 2008 Saturday
Entry for 01 March 2008 Saturday magnify
I got the 0552 (dep 0605) bus from Norwich Thorpe to Ely (0740 hours arr), the ride on the bus was ? ,I could feel the bus move left & right a lot of the time, so I then told myself, that I will be coming back via Ipswich.
At Ely, they was only a short wait, for the 0744 Ely p1 to Liverpool Lime Street, via Nottingham (0932 arr), 158813 DMU.
Nice to on a train, I notice the seats are much better, than the seats that came with the 158's.

The factory on the March to Peterborough line, that burned down last week, very close to the railway line.
Some people might wonder how such a big fire took so long to put out & why the line was closed, seen how much damage & how close it is to the railway line, I would not like to have been as close as some other might like.

Over the river Trent, this is a disused line, I wonder when it was last used ? .

Broad Marsh shopping Centre, Who wants to Marry in a car like this.
I did a bit of shopping, first Marks & Spencer home dept.
two easycare fitted sheets (£6 each) , 3 pack of hand woven tea towels (£2:50) & two face towels for 50p each.
Inotice a Orange shop near by, I got a 'Orange Tokyo' mobile phone, but had to get £10 credit.
Then on to M&S, the one next to the church, but before I went in, a person came up to me & ask, if I got the time to take a survey for the BBC (on a new local service they have planed ), which I did do, on a touch screen Panasonic note book computer (silver), after I cam out, I was ask again, but told hi,. I just done it.

Bottom floor of this building, where they took the survey, a number of notebooks in a room.

In M&S other shop, I got two shirts & trousers in the mens dept (2nd) & hand wash, hand / body lotion / foam bath in the female floor (1st), I notice that in the past, the hand soap, lotion, etc was made in Poland, now it says made in the UK ?
Wilko for a new toilet seat (£19:99) & Meadow Fresh fabric conditioner 1 litre bottle.
Bell Inn, for food, but on the front small bar was open, it was about 1130 hours, so may be too early for food, I just had a pint.

I went to HMV, near Broad Marsh, got a few Star Trek Deep Space Nine DVD's (season 5 & 6).
Then to the Fellows Morton & for a stake meal, it was here I phone my Dad.

then back to Broad Marsh shopping centre, Original Shoe (unit 49), got a pair of adidas superstar NBA 72 red (Cleveland Cavaliers), size 9 half, £40 (down from £70 ? ).

Now I went to The Vat & The Fiddle,
Kipper the cat was about, but only seen her came in the door.

Photo with my Orange Tokyo mobile phone camera.

Another customer help me, as I had a lot of bags, to carry my pint to the seat.
I notice they changed they name, from Tynemill to Castle Rock, I notice a letter from
Hardy and Hansons (staff of the closed Kimberley brewery, thanks to Greene King from Bury St Edmunds), saying Castle Rock brewery is now the main & biggest brewery in Nottinghamshire.
Since all H&H beer now come from Bury St Edmunds.

Nottinghamshire brewing history

I did buy eight 500ml bottle of Harvest Pale.
I only got one stamp on the Over The eight collector's card, because I keep forgetting to take it out, when I buy a pint.

after that, my long trip home started, I got the 1533 Nottingham Midland p1 to Ely p3, 158773, the Norwich Thorpe train cleaners was at Ely today, but as I did not want to get a bus & the next Peterborough to Ipswich train was 1830, I got the 1726 Ely p2 to Cambridge, 365531.
I had seen 156417 in the platform, so I did walk to it, after I got off the King Cross service (First CC), only to see it leave the platform (1744 Cambridge to Ipswich, 156417), what a place to be stuck.
The station is more unfriendly than Norwich, plus after a talk with my Dad, I was in a bad mood, with his silly act.
I got the 1804 Cambridge to Ely 'Cross Country service, 170110, so I have been on East Midlands Trains (Stagecoach), First Capital Connect, CrossCountry (Arriva) & National Express East Anglia.
And Bella Coach from Norwich Thorpe to Ely.

1830 Ely p3 to London Liverpool Street, via Stowmarket p1, 170202.
I had a bit of wait at Stowmarket, as the next Norwich train, did not stop there, even if I went though to Ipswich, I would of still missed it.
I notice the next train from Cambridge (I think the 1844 ? ) 1945 Stowmarket to Ipswich, 156402, came in just before the train for Norwich, but I would not have liked to stay at Cambridge for that long, the only good thing about Cambridge station, is that they is a Marks & Spencer, with they friendly staff
1953 Stowmarket p2 to Norwich Thorpe p2, 82114 / 10241.

The days was very good, until the trip back & wost of all, Cambridge station.
Why do trains go via Grantham,m well that the route & the other routes have been closed years ago, which for some strange reason, like me not being born then, I was not asked about, had no input to, could not do anything about.

At home, I had something to eat, then went to bed, it had been a long day, and a very stressful trip back, mostly because I was telling someone what a 'missed train' was, how I could miss a train ?, that I did not hung up on them (lost signal), bus from Ely to Norwich & no trains, mean I can not get a train from Ely to Norwich ?

Another 12 hours, 2nd one in the three, late turn & clean the train on night shift.
I done a litter pick up & empty bins on the 1400 Norwich thorpe to London Liverpool Street, because the LHCS set, that was used for this service was late into to Norwich, it was very dirty, two bags a coach.
I hope today is a bit less trash, as there was a lot on Saturday, football & near Christmas, today is the first day of Liverpool Street being closed, I do not know much about that.

Columbo: It's All in the Game (1993) (TV)

Columbo - "It's All In The Game" (1967)"It's All In The Game" (1993). Season:, 11, Episode - 1 ... Love proves Columbo's toughest adversary when he begins to fall for the charms of the alluring ...

Now watching the above, one link says 1967, but it was 1993.
After, on the Hallmark channel (Virgin NTL 190) is A Bird in the Hand from 1300 to 1500 hours.
But i will not watch that, as I am going to work on the 1400 train to Colchester, to get to Ipswich.

There will be no trains between Liverpool Street and Stratford between 23rd December and 1st January 2008 inclusive, as a result of major engineering work on the approach lines to the station, in connection with the extension of TfL’s East London line. During this period, Network Rail will take the opportunity to undertake a number of major engineering works on the Liverpool Street approaches, as well as projects affecting Stratford and Shenfield. View the route map to see how your journey will be affected
So a trip from Ipswich or more north down the line, it a bus from Colchester to Liverpool Street, but if you from Colchester, then train to Ingatestone, bus to Newbury Park Underground station, then Underground to Liverpool Street.
On the Southend line to Bilericay, need to change to bus from Bilericay to Laindon, for train on 'C2C' to Fenchurch Street (This is going to renamed 'National Express East Anglia').
From Cambridge, change at Seven Sisters, for London Underground Victoria Line.
Chingford, change at Walthamstow Central, for victoria Line London Underground.
Southminster, change at Wickford for coach to Pitsea, C2C train to Fenchurch Street
I could go on forever, as some day, it changes too.

Another 12 hour shift, a bit busy today, the line from Bury StEdmunds to Ely (& Peterborough) was reopened Thursday around 1500, but today, the first 'OME' train used the line again, after a long time.
But the 170's DMU was only going as far (or from) Ipswich today, EMU's (360's & 321's) was used on the Ipswich to Liverpool Street part of the service until about 1700 hours.
This was a lot more work for cleaning, with eight coach trains, plus could not water the DMU's.

I got everything done, just a little harder than I did think, but something was done to all the train, even it was just a pick up trash & empty bins.
I got the dealyed last train back, was in norwich about 0205 hours.

Better be going to bed now, a bit late, or early ?

Now I am on 1400 to 0200, Friday night, have to be quick.
That will be 15th hours overtime over three days.

I got the Christmas card, well some.
That about it.

Did not sleep very well last night, not too good, when the next three days, I am doing three 12 hour shifts.
Looking forward to Monday, when I am off.
Also not much else to write about, other than work.

I am working 1400 to 0200, 12 hours, five of which are overtime hours.
