I went to HMV, near Broad Marsh, got a few Star Trek Deep Space Nine DVD's (season 5 & 6).
Then to the Fellows Morton & for a stake meal, it was here I phone my Dad.
then back to Broad Marsh shopping centre, Original Shoe (unit 49), got a pair of adidas superstar NBA 72 red (Cleveland Cavaliers), size 9 half, £40 (down from £70 ? ).
Now I went to The Vat & The Fiddle, Kipper the cat was about, but only seen her came in the door.
Photo with my Orange Tokyo mobile phone camera.
Another customer help me, as I had a lot of bags, to carry my pint to the seat.
I notice they changed they name, from Tynemill to Castle Rock, I notice a letter from Hardy and Hansons (staff of the closed Kimberley brewery, thanks to Greene King from Bury St Edmunds), saying Castle Rock brewery is now the main & biggest brewery in Nottinghamshire.
Since all H&H beer now come from Bury St Edmunds.
I did buy eight 500ml bottle of Harvest Pale.
I only got one stamp on the Over The eight collector's card, because I keep forgetting to take it out, when I buy a pint.
after that, my long trip home started, I got the 1533 Nottingham Midland p1 to Ely p3, 158773, the Norwich Thorpe train cleaners was at Ely today, but as I did not want to get a bus & the next Peterborough to Ipswich train was 1830, I got the 1726 Ely p2 to Cambridge, 365531.
I had seen 156417 in the platform, so I did walk to it, after I got off the King Cross service (First CC), only to see it leave the platform (1744 Cambridge to Ipswich, 156417), what a place to be stuck.
The station is more unfriendly than Norwich, plus after a talk with my Dad, I was in a bad mood, with his silly act.
I got the 1804 Cambridge to Ely 'Cross Country service, 170110, so I have been on
East Midlands Trains (Stagecoach),
First Capital Connect,
CrossCountry (
Arriva) &
National Express East Anglia.
And Bella Coach from Norwich Thorpe to Ely.
1830 Ely p3 to London Liverpool Street, via Stowmarket p1, 170202.
I had a bit of wait at Stowmarket, as the next Norwich train, did not stop there, even if I went though to Ipswich, I would of still missed it.
I notice the next train from Cambridge (I think the 1844 ? ) 1945 Stowmarket to Ipswich, 156402, came in just before the train for Norwich, but I would not have liked to stay at Cambridge for that long, the only good thing about Cambridge station, is that they is a Marks & Spencer, with they friendly staff
1953 Stowmarket p2 to Norwich Thorpe p2, 82114 / 10241.
The days was very good, until the trip back & wost of all, Cambridge station.
Why do trains go via Grantham,m well that the route & the other routes have been closed years ago, which for some strange reason, like me not being born then, I was not asked about, had no input to, could not do anything about.
At home, I had something to eat, then went to bed, it had been a long day, and a very stressful trip back, mostly because I was telling someone what a 'missed train' was, how I could miss a train ?, that I did not hung up on them (lost signal), bus from Ely to Norwich & no trains, mean I can not get a train from Ely to Norwich ?
