What if a ship, never did sink on her maiden voyage, so what cause her fame, .
"The Olympic-class ocean liners were a trio of British ocean linersbuilt by the Harland & Wolff shipyard for the White Star Line during the early 20th century, named Olympic (1911), Titanic (1912) and Britannic (1914). All three were designated to be the largest as well as most luxurious liners of the era, devised to provide White Star an advantage as regards to size and luxury in the transatlantic passenger trade. "
Well this talk of the nearly unknown Titanic, with Olympic having the nickname "Old Reliable", getting most of the fame, even if there was not much different ?
I also thought, would another shipping disaster, be part of the public thoughts, in the future, to have the name be shown , I could not think RMS Empress of Ireland Brewery, would do the same ?
