 Best settings for night photography include12345:

  1. High ISO (typically starting at 1600)
  2. Open aperture (such as f/2.8 or f/4)
  3. Longest possible shutter speed (calculated with the 500 or 300 rule)
  4. Shoot in RAW format
  5. Use a tripod or support your camera
  6. Set your camera to Aperture Priority mode
  7. Manually set your ISO between 100 and 1600
  8. Set your aperture low (f/2.8-f/5.6)
