New Landlord for Fellow, Morton & Clayton pub needed, seem some working going on, inside.
I got 158788 05:48 Norwich Thorpe to London Liverpool Street 11:29 - to Nottingham Midland 08:38, another 158 connected up to 158788, to make it four coaches.
The Roe Buck Inn, which is a nice Wetherspoons, only £3:88 for Fiesta Brunch ,
Lloyds No.1 Wetherspoons, first time in this place, but did know about it,
They used to have one at British Waterway building, but that closed, since that going to be used for other things ? This seem much bigger inside, that it looks from the outside.
The Newshouse, but I went to Canelhouse first
The cheap hotel I used to use, £15 a night, in the mid 1990's, with breakfast , it seems great price then, now it feel amazing.
British Waterway building, where another Wetherspoons used to be, what was it name ?
this was a Greene King pub, now closed, well they still got The Bell Hotel and Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, in Nottingham, and may be many more.
Canalhouse, just opened , at 12 noon, it got busy very soon, so then I went to the Newshouse after
The Newshouse, I got Shipstones Mild here, I felt like I was the only one there, using the Castle Rock phone app is easy.
Now in Barley Twist, this was busy, but not that busy,
Vat & Fiddle pub, where the Castle Rock brewery is, as well, well can see it, in the smoking and outside area, at the back, more easy, with a drawing, painting of Kipper, the cat, that used to live here.
Now at the old Boots Social Club, now The Embankment Castle Rock pub, so two new Castle Rock pubs, that I never been to before, with the Newshouse.
There was a act, and they was given out this leaflet , with I think downstairs , so could of seen more of this building, but wanted to get back to the railway station, and by then, I had enough beer ?
I got the train back to Norwich , 158852 & 158858 1L14 14:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich Thorpe 20:12 - 158858 from Nottingham Midland, left Nottingham at 17:44, this was quite packed, as another train was cancelled to Skegness, so a lot of people used this train, but after they left, it was quite easy to get a seat.
Seems they was a Bob Dylan concert, or event last night, in Nottingham I think, someone was chatting to me about it, on this train.
Just reading about it, Motorpoint Arena, or is it called Nottingham Arena ?
