Stigma of Council Tenants

Council apologises for eight months of delays in fixing woman's front door

Clare Ingram's front door was broken down by firefighters while responding to a medical emergency in February.

The story of Norwich City Council repairs taken a long time, but then I read the comments.

Of course, "Freedom of Speech", some people think and say anything they like, but would not like to receive this from others, using that same right.

It is popular to think of Council Tenants as being lazy, not having a job, and being part of "The Something for Nothing Society", the undeserving poor.

But even if she was working, then they question why she has a Council Home and other things, that in they opinion she should not enjoy.

May be I too got a stereotype of other people too, it is very easy to think this way.

I just do not understand why a few people spend they time, writing negative comments on people they do not know, so that other people will read them, because they do not seem very smart to write this, or have that opinion on Council Tenants.

May be some people feel so unfulfilled in they own life's, that they need to insult strangers on the internet, with they smart usernames, to cover up who they are in real life.
