Notes to myself

**A Heartfelt Reflection on This Week’s Little Journeys** πŸ’›πŸšΆ‍♂️πŸƒ

This week has been a gentle but meaningful adventure. Since Tuesday, I’ve found myself heading over to **Aldi on 403 Sprowston Road** each day, weaving these visits into my routine like familiar threads in a comforting tapestry. Google Fit tells me I’ve clocked up **6,304 steps** and **48 Heart Points** so far — little milestones that feel like quiet victories, nudging me to keep going, especially when I’m at work or popping out for errands.

Yesterday’s return trip took me along **Gilman Road**, not too far, before winding down **Gentrude Road**. That’s when I spotted **125 / 99 Gentrude Road** — now a shop, but still holding the soul of its past. You can tell, if you look closely, it was once a proud **1930’s pub** called *The Heath House*. Reading that it closed in 2021 made me pause — not so long ago, yet already part of history.

There’s something bittersweet about walking past places that once brimmed with voices, laughter, and stories. Even as life moves forward, those quiet facades seem to whisper their memories to anyone willing to listen. I guess that’s the charm of these small wanderings — they connect the now with the then, making every walk a little more than just steps on a map. 🌿✨
