Just some photos from yesterday, and I am having late breakfast

 

From getting up in Liverpool, Castle Street Easy Hotel, in room 417, the only room half way, up from floor 4 to floor 5, next to the lift , so can hear that, when that working.

I did get a train back to London, more faster, and did not spent much time in Liverpool, on Friday, the trip back to London was nice, the new 807006 EMU are fast, Evero trains, but the older Class 390 Alstom Pendolino was the dream of the WCML upgrade to 140MPH running, when Virgin West Coast was operated them, may be that would take the crown from ECML, as UK's main line ? again ? 

A lot of the West Coast upgrade was done, but the 140 MPH dream, did not happen, may be HS2 will be the main line, that ? but like the West Coast upgrade, that might not be fully build too ? This will help the West Coast Main Line, as well, and transport, it very much needed, but many people will see they local railway station, and local line, and might think they have been forgetting, and other places, like HS2, Transpennine North upgrade, London's Elizabeth Line, Oxford to Cambridge railway line (more so that some part of it, is open but no trains ? yet ? ),  many new station, like Cambridge North, Cambridge South, Beaulieu Park, Dore & Totley upgrade, that was part of Hope Valley Railway upgrade, all big projects, that might be ignored, for many reasons ?

I could add a lot more to this list, but HS2 seem to get the press, for good and bad reasons, there is a massive need for HS2, that can be ignored, or not seen, when your local station and needs , seem to be ignored, but to think HS2 is the only project, that stops all others, might be too simple way to think ?
