Dear Mr Turner
Corporate complaint
Thank you for your emails dated Monday 23 March, Wednesday 1 April and Tuesday 2 April 2015. I am sorry for the length of time it has taken for me to respond to you however, I have now received all the information required in order to provide you with a full response.
Please accept my apologies for the incorrect information in my last letter. I am sorry for the length of time it has taken for the scaffold to be removed, your kitchen window to be replaced and that the painting works have not been completed. MITIE would like to apologise for this however, they have been experiencing issues with the scaffold contractor used and unfortunately the remaining painting works and window replacement can not be carried out whilst the scaffold is in place.
I would like to assure you that MITIE are in daily communication with their sub-contractor to ensure that the scaffolding is removed as soon as possible. To ensure that this does not happen again, MITIE have advised us that they will no longer be using this particular scaffold company.
I am pleased to inform you that MITIE's supervisor, Mr Martin will be contacting you this week to arrange a convenient time to visit your home to discuss all of the issues you have raised, and to agree a date for the outstanding works to be completed.
I hope you are satisfied with my reply. However, if you feel your enquiry has not been fully investigated and you wish to complain further, please give your reasons in writing to the complaints team at the above address, or by emailing
listening@norwich.gov.uk. A further investigation will be carried out and a response issued to you within 15 days.
Yours sincerely
